Flavouring before Harvest

Has anyone tried flavoring their cannabis before? I have been reading that your starve your plant of water really good around the time you will harvest. You add some sort of flavoring like vanilla extract. One tablespoon per gallon or i have read one tablespoon per 5 gallons all depends i guess on how strong you want it. But after you water you let the plant sit for 4 hours to suck back the flavored water and then you chop her down and dry and cure as normal but keep an eye for mold since she just took a major drink and should be filled with a lot of water. So anyone try this out yet and how did it turn out? What method did you use?

Intriguing... To be honest I like cannabis flavour, but I would love to hear of any results form people who try this.
