cannabis pests??

My first grow is a disaster and I really don't know what's going on.

I captured 8 or 10 bugs either on or in close proximity to the girl. This was an indoor grow. They look like lightening bugs! I can't find any info online with a search. Any idea what's going on??

Hi. Maybe you mean trhips. In the UK we call them thunder flies, which ties in with your lightning bugs.
Try looking up thrips on cannabis. Is that what you mean?
If you are in veg you can use a pesticide. If you are in flower or growing organically you could think about treating with neem oil. You should also invest in some sticky fly traps.
A background level of thrips is supportable, but you need to control them as an infestation will adversely affect your plant health and yield.
