  • Indoor growing with CFL lights

If I'm growing autoflower plants indoors, do I switch from 6500 lights to 2700 when the plants start flowering?

    Hi Essaybee, welcome.
    Yes.
Although if you keep both it will help. With CFLs the more light you have the better so I would maybe add the 2700 rather than switch them. How many bulbs and what wattage are they?

Hi Saturnalia. Thanks for the welcome. I am thinking of using 4 x 150 watt per plant.

That is plenty of light. Should work just fine. I have grown one plant with about 300W of CFL and it came out fine. Try and get the bulbs as close to the plant as you can without burning. I trained mine over with LST to expose all the side branches to the light.
Let us know how it goes.
