Germination question

Hello, first time grower here. I started germinating 6 seeds with the paper towel method and they all cracked. I transfered them to rockwool and they're still in the dark. Now how long should i wait until i start the light cycle?

Usually plant them when you see a tap root come out of the shell after it has cracked open. I normally put the seeds in water for 12 hours or so to soften up the husk some. Then place in wet paper towel. And it will vary when they will pop up. If the temp is right and the seed isnt drowning in the rockwool. Patience i guess lol
