    Default harvesting seeds

I have a question about harvesting seeds....

    First...
Can you get good seeds from a male? If so, when can you tell that they are ready to pluck?

    Next...
Do you need to pollinate a female plant to get quality seeds?

Any input on this will be greatly appreciated.

I'm no expert here but my understanding of it is that males produce pollen rather than seed. To harvest viable seeds you will need to have a female plant that has been pollinated by a male. You can do this by growing the male or female plants next to each other. However, if you want total control over the situation (because, for example, you are trying to cross two particular strains), you can grow the males separately and artifically pollinate the females at around 2 weeks into flowering.
I'm sure an hour or two on Google will give you all the info you need to know.
