First time Grower, Need help with my 2week old babies!!

so ive been growin my plants indoors. Just the other day i thought, "im goin to be gone the whole day and i dnt want to leave my heat lamp on the whole day," so i left them in the sun with water of coarse and when i got back the leaves were a little bigger but they curved sort of like a palm tree??? is that the sun effecting them or is that supposed to happen when they get a lil bigger???
