OK I know I want it dark during curing can any light seep in of do I have to seal it tight

it doesn't have to be pitch black,..a room with closed curtain or blinds with dim or passive light wont upset the cure.
you just dont want direct or prolonged light exposure on the drying harvest.
keeping the room at the right temp and humidity is more important as well as keeping the air movement with a fan or two not blowing too directly on them, but buffered.
drying in a warm stagnate even slightly humid area will increase the chance of mold or mildew,insects messin up the cure and the crop.
