Would a 4ft t5 grow light that puts out 20000 lums be enough light for a 2ft by 4ft by 6ft tent

Yes it should be enough. How many plants are you going to put under it?

I bought 2 four bulb Fluorescent light arrays (2ft T5's) In a tent the same size as yours, I was able to do 4 "babies" quite successfully. I ran out of room before I "ran out" of light. They were 2200 Lumens per bulb for 2700K, and I imagine the same at a 6500K. 8 bulb total - 17600 Lumens.

I was able to move them up and down individually as needed. VERY convenient.
