Veganic Method

So, upon reading more about aquaponic growing, I decided it might be too much of a challenge for me at my current skill level. Not to mention every fish I've tried to care for has died within weeks! I stumbled upon some information on veganic growing now but I can't quite seem to wrap my head around it. Does anyone here have any experience with this method?
