grow problems

Hiya,
I'm new new to growing and my plants are going ok except some of the leaves are turning brown and are realy dry. Can anyone give me some advice on what might be causing this to happen?

Hard to say without pictures. Could the plant be too hot? Is it too close to the lights?
Tell us more about the grow - indoors outdoors? soil hydro? What type of weed? What food does it have? How old is it? Etc.....
