The things I have read have made the Wispr out to be a bit out of date what with the butane heat source etc. However, I tried one out last week at a party and it was amazing. Very smooth and no taste of gas or combustion. I was very impressed.

i think the wispr is great for camping trips! also the higher temperature makes it superior comapred with the iolite.
