  • Seed age and coloring

Yo whats good? I got some seeds from my buddy but, I do not know how old they are. Do seeds have a shelf life if so how long and what if anything does coloring have to do with a seed being bad or good? Thanks for any feedback.

Hello. Not sure if color has anything to do with it, but I know that cannabis seeds can stay viable for many years if stored in a cool dry place.
But of course, the best way to find out is to try and germinate them and see what comes out. If you don't have an indoors set up I would wait until next spring (if you're in the northern hemisphere) and put them in the ground in a safe place. If you do have an indoor set up, just germinate themand see!

If you store your seeds in a regulated environment, it would last for years, but there is no age limit for seed storage shelf life yet. But avoid humidity and contact with microorganism during storage.
