    Hi you guys... I have another ? A friend came over last night to check out "my girls" he said that if I put a black light in there for about 15 min a day that the plant will think it needs to protect itself and will produce a lot more thc????? and insight to that..?????

    I have been reading about this recently. He is talking about hash tips (google that). It's a phenomenon that has been happening to LED growers.
    By providing light at 660nm - but not 680nm - you can provoke a reaction whereby your plants produce loads of resin as a sun protection measure. Not sure about blacklight, the articles I read talked about UVB lights for reptiles. The trouble with this is that they generate a lot of heat.
    Maybe give your black lights a go and tell us how it turns out. I am very interested to learn more about this.

        I was reading that at least 40% of the LED light must have 660nm red and no 680nm red and a lens angle of between 60 - 90 degrees
