  • Single Fingered Leaves

Hi all. I have a young clone that I took from a flowering plant. It seems to have taken OK and is growing fine. However the leaves are very thin and papery and many of them have just a single finger. Has anybody experienced anything like this before? Could it be just because I took the cutting whilst the plant was in flower?

Hi, sometimes a cutting will revert to starting over just like when a plant comes up from a seed, the first two leaves are single blades! This is basically the same thing, your cutting is doing. What kind of lighting do you have it under? A picture would help but, it sounds like that's what's going on. It should start putting out reg. leaves. Hope this helps, Mega Nute

Thanks Mega Nute. I have done some reading about this and I think you are right. The plant is just under some small CFLs. It is putting on plenty of growth and I think it will revert to normal growth quite soon. I will post a picture later. Thanks for the answer.
